James McEnery

James McEnery has a strong background in IT and software engineering. James started their career as an Information Systems Programmer at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson in 2004. James then worked as a Research Assistant at Cork Institute of Technology in 2005. In 2009, they joined Documatics as a Development Engineer. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Global Shares before being promoted to Technical Lead in 2013. In 2014, they became the Chief Architect and then Head of IT in 2017 at Global Shares. Currently, they hold the position of CTO at the same company since March 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Part-Time Assistant Lecturer at Cork Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011.

James McEnery attended St. Aidan's Community College from 1997 to 2001. James later pursued higher education at Munster Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2001 to 2005.
