Jurrie Van De Velden

Jurrie van der Velden is an experienced team manager currently with the NN Running Team, where responsibilities include career planning, team development, and strategic decision-making. With a long-standing association with Global Sports Communication since 2006, Jurrie has held various roles such as Event Manager, overseeing elite athlete coordination and consulting on road races and marathons, and as an Athletes Representative, focusing on performance management and sponsorship deals. Jurrie also served on the Pro Running Board for World Athletics, advising on road running and marathon strategies. Academic qualifications include a Master in Coaching from the Johan Cruyff Institute and a degree in Sports Marketing and Communications from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
