Carlos Cardoso

Carlos Cardoso has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Carlos started their career in 1989 as a Senior Design and Program Manager at TFM Holdings, where they worked on recovery vehicles for the South African military industry. In 1997, they joined KYNOS SA as a Senior Program Manager, before moving to CASTELLON AUTOMOTIVE in 2000 as an Engineering Manager for steering columns. Cardoso then joined TRW Automotive Holdings in 2004, where they served as an Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer for EPS design and development. In 2010, they became a Business Manager for Electrical Power Steering Technology at TRW Automotive - South America, before being promoted to BU Director of Engineering & Business Development. Carlos then transitioned to ZF/TRW Active & Passive Safety Technology as the BU Operation Director for EPS, Light Vehicle, and Commercial Steering. Most recently, Cardoso has been working at Global Steering Systems, LLC. as the VP of Global Sales, Business Development, and Program Management since February 2019 and Vice President of Operations prior to that.

Carlos Cardoso earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo, Mozambique. Carlos attended the university from 1984 to 1988.
