Kaitlyn Bretz is a data visualization expert with extensive experience in disaster preparedness, geospatial analysis, and education. Currently serving as a Data Visualization Analyst at Global Support and Development, Kaitlyn leads the development of dynamic dashboards and reporting tools for enhancing disaster response efforts. Previously, Kaitlyn held various positions at the Center for Sustainable Energy, progressing from Junior Research Analyst to Senior Research Analyst and Visual Analytics Manager. Additionally, Kaitlyn has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Associate Faculty at Columbia Climate School and as an Associate II Faculty at Columbia University, where expertise in GIS was utilized. With a Master of Arts in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Kaitlyn has developed a strong foundation in both research and practical applications of geospatial technologies.
