Bhaskar Das

Bhaskar Das is an experienced academic and industry professional with over two decades of expertise in apparel manufacturing, merchandising, and education. Since July 2015, Bhaskar has served as an Associate Professor at Global University Systems, delivering lectures and developing course content for undergraduate and postgraduate students, while also receiving the 'Research Excellence Award' for research in lean implementation in apparel manufacturing. Previous roles include senior merchandising and production management positions at prominent companies such as Triburg Sportswear and Coldwater Creek, with substantial business volume responsibilities. Bhaskar holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, and has completed various training programs in quality management and higher education administration. Bhaskar is also actively involved in industry and educational initiatives, mentoring students and collaborating on exams.
