Louise Cousins has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Louise started their career as a Director at Falcon IT Consultancy Limited from 2003 to 2009, followed by a similar role at Chaos IT Limited from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they began working as an Author & Illustrator for QB Books, where they authored and illustrated several series of books, including those designed to help children with ASD navigate adversity.

Louise then transitioned into the technology industry, joining Global University Systems in 2012. Louise held multiple roles in the company, including Senior Web Developer and Interim Service Delivery Manager, before becoming the Project and Development Delivery Manager from 2017 to 2019. In their most recent role as the Head of Software Development, they directly managed the Web and Mobile Engineering teams, leading software development, product management, project management, and various other teams across multiple countries. Louise was responsible for implementing agile methodologies, developing strategies to support business objectives, and driving digital transformation.
