Joyce Lee

Joyce Lee is an experienced policy and projects leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Head of Policy and Projects at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) since March 2019. In this role, Joyce articulates policy positions for the global wind energy industry, presents recommendations to international institutions, and manages a range of funded projects. Joyce is also a Policy and Operations Director at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and a Bureau Member/Vice Chair at REN21. Previously, Joyce held positions as a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting and as Head Editor for Young China Watchers, among other roles. Joyce earned two Master's Degrees in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Peking University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University.
