Ashley Thomson

Ashley Thomson is a seasoned professional in international relations and environmental policy with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Global Witness since October 2022, Ashley previously held the position of Senior Campaigner at Greenpeace USA from April 2020 to October 2022. Additional roles include consulting at Climate Focus, a Land Use Intern, and a Graduate Associate at The Kaizen Company, along with an internship at the Inter-American Development Bank and a Resettlement Intern at the International Rescue Committee. Ashley began a career in public service as a Virtual Student Foreign Service Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Relations & International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History from Santa Clara University, along with ongoing studies at the John Felice Rome Center.
