Evan Metcalf

Evan Metcalf has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Evan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Global X ETFs AU, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at ETF Securities AU, including Head of Product from October 2020 to September 2022, and Co-Head of Portfolio Management from May 2017 to October 2020. Before joining ETF Securities AU, Evan worked at ANZ as a Senior Portfolio Manager for ANZ ETFS from January 2015 to May 2017, and as a Director in Equity Derivatives Structuring from April 2013 to January 2015. Evan began their career at Credit-Suisse as an Equity Derivative Structurer from July 2004 to February 2013. Evan also served as a Quantitative Analyst at Westpac Banking Corp from January 2000 to June 2004.

Evan Metcalf has a strong educational background in the field of finance and mathematics. Evan obtained a Masters of Science degree in Financial Mathematics from King's College London from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at UNSW from 1994 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Evan Metcalf also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, which they obtained in September 2019 from the CFA Institute.
