Hiren Majmudar

Hiren Majmudar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hiren has held various leadership roles in prominent companies such as GlobalFoundries, SiFive, Intel Corporation, and Magma Design Automation.

At GlobalFoundries, Hiren currently serves as the VP & GM, Datacenter & Communications Infrastructure, overseeing key business units such as Compute, Datacenter, Wired & Wireless Infrastructure, SATCOM, and Silicon Photonics. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President of the Compute Business Unit at GlobalFoundries.

During their time at SiFive, Hiren held the position of Vice President, Corporate Business Development. Hiren was responsible for corporate development activities, including fund raising, M&A projects, and complex partnerships. In addition, they managed the sales territory of Israel and worked with select Fortune 100 semiconductor companies.

At Intel Corporation, Hiren held multiple leadership positions. Hiren served as the Vice President of Intel Capital and Managing Director of IP & Silicon Products, where they led executive-level projects related to CPU, AI, Sensors, Machine Learning, FPGA, Networking Silicon, and various IPs. Additionally, they played a key role in Intel's corporate transition from custom design to industry standards-driven SOCs, establishing a strong ecosystem of over 100 IP partners. Hiren also held the role of Director of IP Engineering & EDA SOC Design Automation, where they managed external IPs for all of Intel.

Before joining Intel Corporation, Hiren worked at Magma Design Automation as the Senior Director of Field Operations. In this role, they led pre-sales engagements and post-sales EDA software deployments for leading-edge 45nm process technologies, working with key customers such as Qualcomm, TI, and Atmel.

Hiren's career at Intel Corporation began in 1993, where they held various positions, including EDA Application Engineer, Pentium Pro CPU Design Engineer, and Technical Manager. Hiren built technology teams from scratch and focused on improving operational efficiencies through nimble processes.

Hiren Majmudar holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University. Hiren also completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
