Ruth Hernandez

Ruth Hernandez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over twenty years. Ruth is currently the EMEA Region Head and Sales VP at GlobalFoundries, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Maxim Integrated, including Vice President EMEA Sales and Applications from May 2014 to January 2022. Ruth'sprevious roles at Maxim Integrated include Managing Director-EMEA Sales and Applications, Executive Director Western Europe, Director Western Europe Sales, and RSM Southern Europe Sales. Before joining Maxim Integrated, Ruth worked at Texas Instruments as a European Account Manager, Automotive Sales Manager for Southern Europe, and World-Wide Account Manager. Ruth'searly career involved roles at Ingersoll Rand as a Product Area Manager, Technical Sales Representative, and Marketing Analyst.

Ruth Hernandez has a strong educational background in engineering and management. Ruth obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Saint Louis University in 1991. Ruth further pursued their studies at Virginia Tech, where they earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 1993. In 1995, Ruth completed their education with an MBA in Management from Virginia Tech. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Corporate Governance from CEU IAM Business School, Strategic Corporate Finance from IE Business School, and Leading with Data and Analytics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education in 2020.
