Thayalan Kulasingam

Thayalan Kulasingam is an experienced professional in engineering and operations, currently serving as Director at GlobalFoundries since March 2016, with previous roles including Senior Manager/Deputy Director and Facilities Manager for Chemical Operations. From November 2008 to November 2015, Thayalan held the position of Project Engineering Manager at KBR Pty Ltd, and prior to that, served as Principal Process Engineer at KBR/Sunset Coast Water Alliance from 2006 to 2008. Earlier experience includes roles at Chartered Semiconductor from 2002 to 2006 as Section Manager of Chemical Facilities and as Senior Engineer/Group Leader at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd in Singapore from June 2000 to July 2002. Thayalan holds an MBA in Management of Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology (1997-1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa (1990-1994).
