Wasim Firdaus Lashkor

Wasim Firdaus Lashkor is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in reliability engineering and optical components. Currently serving as Principal Engineer in Reliability at GlobalFoundries since September 2024, Wasim previously held the position of Test Engineer for Optical Components at Ciena from October 2021 to September 2024. Prior roles include Laser Research Scientist at MPB Communications Inc., where significant contributions included advancing output power in fiber lasers, and Fiber Optics & Sales Engineer at O/E Land Inc. Wasim's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McGill University, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree from the Islamic University of Technology.
