Megan DeSisti

Megan supports GlobalGiving's aspiring nonprofit partners as they wander through crowdfunding wonderland, a.k.a the GlobalGiving Accelerator. She loves meeting potential nonprofit partners and is in constant awe of her remarkably intelligent—but more importantly, kind—GlobalGiving family. Megan lived in Sri Lanka, her mother's native home until she was 15. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Global development studies and made it halfway through a gap year in Nairobi before joining GlobalGiving. A lifelong dabbler in dance and theater, Megan is quietly plotting a return, however obscure, to the stage.
