Gašper Okršlar

Gašper Okršlar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gašper currently serves as the Director of Delivery at GlobaliD, where they lead multi-disciplined teams in planning, building, deploying, and supporting digital software products. Their responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders across different regions, managing delivery processes, and educating team members. Prior to this role, Gašper worked as a Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master Lead at GlobaliD, focusing on EU-based teams and leading the company through a refocusing period. Gašper also worked as a Project Manager and Scrum Master at GlobaliD, contributing to the development of identity-related features in the app.

Outside of GlobaliD, Gašper co-founded Sportivita & Igriva igralnica, a company focused on sport activities and educational activities for children. Gašper also worked at Creatim as a Key Account Manager, where they expanded relationships with existing customers and proposed solutions to support their growth. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Creatim, overseeing end-to-end solution delivery for web and e-commerce projects.

Gašper also gained experience in the public sector, serving as a Project Manager and adviser at the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning in Slovenia. Gašper worked on projects related to urban renewal and wastewater management systems. Additionally, they participated in a short-term traineeship program at the European Commission, providing him with insights into EU decision-making procedures.

Before their professional career, Gašper was involved in various projects, including research and lecturer roles at organizations such as the Slovenia Forest Service.

Gašper Okršlar has a Master's Degree in Spatial planning from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and geodetic engineering. Gašper pursued this degree from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Forestry from the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources, completing it from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Gašper Okršlar has also acquired additional certifications. In January 2021, they obtained the PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER™ I certification from Scrum.org. In April 2019, they received a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google.
