Aya Tanaka has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Aya started their career in 2015 at Opt Inc., where they worked as an SSP Sales and Account Manager. Their responsibilities included assisting online publishers in implementing and optimizing ad platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and addressing ad quality concerns. Aya continued in this role until 2019.
In 2019, Aya joined VISIT TOHOKU Inc. as a Sales Consultant and Project Lead. Aya successfully planned and executed an international tourism project, collaborating with various stakeholders, such as client companies, government entities, and local restaurants. Aya also organized seminars on inbound tourism and helped develop menus for restaurant owners. Additionally, they led a project to create a promotional video for a traditional Japanese festival. Their tenure at VISIT TOHOKU Inc. lasted until 2021.
Following their time at VISIT TOHOKU Inc., Aya worked as a freelance Project Manager from February 2021 to April 2022.
Currently, Aya is employed at G-P/Globalization Partners. Aya started in 2022 as an Account Manager and later transitioned to the role of a Customer Success Manager in April 2023.
Aya Tanaka holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Waseda University. Additionally, they obtained the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines with Distinction in November 2019 from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
