Jamilathul Rahimah Namas Khan

Jamilathul Rahimah Namas Khan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Jamilathul Rahimah currently holds the role of Lead Commercial Counsel (APAC) at Globalization Partners, where they are responsible for drafting and negotiating sales and marketing contracts, providing legal advice on contractual matters, and ensuring compliance with laws.

Prior to their current role, Khan worked at U Mobile as a Senior Manager and Manager, where they drafted and negotiated sales and marketing contracts, procurement contracts, and non-procurement contracts. Jamilathul Rahimah also held the position of Legal Manager at Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

Khan has also gained experience in the telecommunications industry, working as a Senior Counsel and Legal Counsel at Celcom Axiata Berhad. Their responsibilities included contract drafting and negotiation.

Additionally, Khan has worked as a Senior Case Counsel and Case Counsel at the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, where they handled cases and provided legal counsel.

Earlier in their career, Khan worked at Bank Negara Malaysia as a Senior Executive in the Legal Department. Their roles included managing litigation cases, debt recovery processes, and providing advice on legal matters. Jamilathul Rahimah also organized the Banking and Financial Law School event.

Khan started their legal career at Shook Lin & Bok Malaysia as a Pupil in Chambers and Litigation Lawyer.

Jamilathul Rahimah Namas Khan attempted the July 2021 New York Bar Examination. Prior to this, they had completed their LLM degree at the University of Malaya from 2010 to 2012. During their time at the University of Malaya, they specialized in Arbitration Law, Advance Administrative Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, and Environmental Law. Before pursuing their LLM, Jamilathul Rahimah Namas Khan obtained their LLB degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) from 2003 to 2007, majoring in law.
