John McAree

John McAree's work experience includes several roles in the software engineering field. John is currently working as a Manager of Software Engineering at G-P/Globalization Partners since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Engineering Manager at SolarWinds from January 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at SentryOne from August 2019 to April 2022, and also held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at SentryOne from September 2018 to August 2019. John has previous experience as a Programmer/Analyst at Elavon, Inc. from April 2011 to August 2018. John started their career as a Software Developer at CareWorks from April 2007 to April 2011, where they worked on legacy systems in healthcare and social care sectors. John also worked as a Business Support Analyst at Standard Life Assurance Company from April 2005 to December 2006, and as an Internet Support Technician at Eircom from 2000 to 2003.

John McAree earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In addition to this degree, they have obtained a certification in "Creating a Serverless Application Using React in AWS" from LinkedIn in May 2023.
