Piotr Tomala

Piotr Tomala has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Piotr currently works as the Manager of Software Engineering at Globalization Partners since September 2022. Prior to that, they were employed by Empik Group as a Development Team Lead from September 2017 to August 2022. Piotr also worked at GFT Poland Sp. z o. o. as a Senior Java Developer from September 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they held the position of Senior Java Developer/Lead Developer at HRS - The Hotel Portal from January 2014 to August 2016, where they were responsible for designing the microservice architecture of a new e-commerce solution for B2C as well as developing new features and leading the recruitment and onboarding of new team members. Piotr started their career as a Consultant at ASTEK Polska from June 2012 to December 2013. Piotr also worked at Comarch as a Senior Software Developer from October 2009 to May 2012, a Software Developer from October 2007 to September 2009, and as a Trainee from July 2007 to September 2007.

Piotr Tomala completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Military University of Technology between 2004 and 2009.
