Information Security Analyst - Application Security at Globalization Partners

Rebecca Bartels has a strong background in information security and has held various roles in this field. Rebecca started their career at 2U as a Cyber-Security Executive Course Teaching Assistant, where they taught students about using Linux and Powershell for web hardening and configuring various security measures. Rebecca then moved on to Marriott International as an Information Security Analyst, where they collaborated with stakeholders to create and implement security processes, onboard new applications and systems, and enforce security policies and procedures. Currently, they are working at G-P/Globalization Partners as an Information Security Analyst, specifically focusing on application security.

Rebecca Bartels has a diverse educational background with a focus on technical and historical subjects. In 2019, they attended Columbia Engineering and completed a Certificate in Cyber Security Executive Education. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, Rebecca pursued a Masters degree in Medieval History in the Middle East Region at Fordham University.
