Globally Local™ was founded in 2014 and originated as a plant-based produce market and food box delivery company. The goal was to give people access to plant-based foods at an affordable price, in order to improve their health, help the environment and avoid harm to animals.

The board members have worked as a Chief Operating Officer at Odd Burger, Director of Care at Jarlette Health Services, and Registered Nurse at London Health Sciences Centre. They have also been educated at Western University and York University in Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Science respectively.
