Alexandros Kontovasilakos

Alexandros Kontovasilakos is an experienced engineering manager and frontend engineer with a background in leading frontend development and implementing React applications within a MicroFrontend architecture at GWI since January 2022. Prior to GWI, Alexandros served in various roles at OpenBet from 2012 to 2021, ultimately leading frontend scrum teams to enhance a Casino portal and expanding core functionalities for a Sports betting Single Page Application. Additional roles at OpenBet included software engineering responsibilities that involved using Drupal and developing reusable components. Alexandros also gained freelance experience as a web developer and worked on several large-scale Drupal projects at Liberis Digital and Globalstar Interactive. Alexandros holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
