Belinda Bouwer

Belinda Bouwer has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. Belinda currently holds the position of Head of Tax at GWI since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as Head of Tax at (MILVIK) BIMA from September 2020 to November 2022. Before that, they worked at EY in International Tax Services from January 2020 to August 2020. Belinda also has experience in Corporate Tax Services at RSM UK from August 2019 to December 2019. Belinda served as an International Tax Manager at Sage from February 2017 to July 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Tax Manager at Group Five "Structured Ingenuity" from July 2014 to January 2017. Belinda has also worked at Deloitte as a Senior Tax Manager from June 2006 to June 2014 and as an Expatriate tax and financial planning consultant from March 2003 to October 2005. Belinda worked as an Expatriate Tax Manager at BDO from November 2005 to May 2006 and as a Private Client Associate at PwC UK from November 2002 to February 2003.

Belinda Bouwer has a diverse education history. Belinda first attended Greenside High School from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained their Matric. Afterwards, they enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand, studying from 1997 to 1999 and earning their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. Belinda then pursued a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from Rand Afrikaans University/University of Johannesburg, completing their studies in 2001. In 2005, they attended the University of the Free State to obtain a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
