Roy Phua Fa Guang

Fa Guang, Roy Phua has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Fa Guang, Roy started their career in 2013 as a Studio Director/Vision Mixer & EVS freelancer at MP & Silva. In 2014, they worked as a Vision Mixer freelancer at Greenezone/IMG Singapore. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at The Walt Disney Company (Fox Sports) as a Studio Director, Vision Mixer, and Camera operator.

In 2018, Fa Guang joined Eleven Sports as a Director, Vision Mixer, and 3Play freelancer for a brief period. Fa Guang, Roy also worked as a Stream Tech at Cgangs International Pte Ltd in the same year.

Fa Guang, Roy served as the Director and Technical Producer at 1 Play Sports Pte Ltd from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, in 2018, they worked as a Stream Tech at Dreamtek, where they performed online streaming and web-based vision mixing tasks using software like OBS and Wirecast.

Prior to that, Fa Guang worked at Mediacorp Pte Ltd as a Senior Technical Coordinator from 2016. Fa Guang, Roy'sresponsibilities included vision mixing and server playback for shows like Hello Singapore and various language news bulletins, as well as operating a jib for programs on CNA.

Most recently, Roy Phua has joined Globecast in 2022 as a Transmission Controller. Before that, they worked at Asian Tour Media as an EVS and Vision Mixer.

Fa Guang attended the Singapore Media Academy in 2014 for a short period of time to study Radio Academy 101. However, no degree was obtained during this period.
