Safwan Tahir

Safwan Tahir has a solid background in the broadcast industry, with over 10 years of experience. Safwan started their career at Measat Broadcast Network System Sdn. Bhd. in 2010, where they worked as an Engineer in the Broadcast Systems department until 2015. Safwan then joined Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd as an Engineer in Broadcast Engineering Support, a role they held for three years. In 2018, they worked as a System Engineer at NAGRA for a brief period. Currently, Safwan is employed at Globecast as a Senior Broadcast Services Engineer, a position they have been in since 2019. Safwan previously held the role of Broadcast Services Engineer at the same company from 2019 to 2022.

Safwan Tahir attended Universiti Teknologi MARA from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Safwan has completed the Cinegy Partner Certification Course from Cinegy GmbH in February 2023 and the EMC Isilon Basic Administration course from EMC in April 2018.
