GlobeMed envisions a world in which health – the ability to not only survive but thrive – is possible for all people. We aim to strengthen the movement for global health equity by mobilizing a community of students and grassroots leaders to improve the health of people around the world. From 2006 to 2023, the GlobeMed network engaged thousands of undergraduate students at university-based chapters. Each chapter is partnered with a community-led health organization in Africa, Asia, or the Americas. 

By building one-to-one partnerships between students and grassroots organizations, GlobeMed fostered the dialogue, collaboration, and mutual learning we need to tackle today’s complex global health challenges.
