Jan Valenta

Jan Valenta has extensive experience in operations management within the retail sector, currently serving as GL- HM Globus at Globus ČR, v.o.s. since April 2016. Prior to this role, Jan held various positions at Ahold, including Senior Operations Manager overseeing more than 150 hypermarkets and supermarkets, and District Operations Manager. Jan's expertise includes short-range and long-range planning, employee motivation, inventory management, and the achievement of key performance indicators. Jan's career also includes roles at Lidl CR, where responsibilities involved managing store openings and audits, and at McDonald's CR, focusing on HR and training. Jan holds an Ing. degree in Regional Development from CZU Prague and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem.
