Thomas Calloway, PhD has extensive experience in the engineering and medical technology sectors. Thomas currently holds the position of Vice President of Surgical Navigation at Globus Medical, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering at Leap Motion from 2017 to 2019. From 2011 to 2017, they held multiple roles at Thales, including Advanced Projects Director and Principal Engineer. During their time at Thales, they played a crucial role in the development of various tracking technologies and received recognition for their exceptional service. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at InterSense Inc from 2005 to 2011, and as a Scholar-Intern in Electrical Engineering at M/A-COM from 2000 to 2004.

Thomas Calloway, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2004. Thomas then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 2009 and 2011. Finally, Thomas completed their doctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earning a PhD in Computer Engineering between 2013 and 2020.
