Robert Meaney

Robert Meaney has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software testing and engineering. Robert is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Glofox since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Testing & Agile Coach at Poppulo from 2016 to 2020.

Robert also held the position of Test and Release Manager at Trustev from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for establishing and scaling all test, automation, release, and monitoring practices and procedures.

Before that, they worked as the Test Automation Lead at VCE from 2014 to 2015, where they designed and implemented the current Test Automation Framework for VCE’s Vision Intelligent Operations. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Quality Engineer at EMC from 2013 to 2014, and a Software Design Engineer in Test at Big Fish Games from 2011 to 2013.

Robert also has experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Lincor Solutions from 2010 to 2011, and as a Software Test Automation Engineer at Pilz from 2006 to 2010. Robert started their career as an RNC TR verification Engineer at Ericsson in 2005.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated strong technical skills in test automation, software quality assurance, and release management.

Robert Meaney obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University College Cork, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. There is no further information available regarding their education history at University College Cork.
