Stephen Lien

Stephen Lien has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on technology companies. Stephen is currently the CFO at Glooko, a diabetes management company.

Previously, Stephen was the Chief Financial Officer at PipelineRx, a medication management company. Stephen was responsible for the financial health of the company, including overseeing all financial planning and reporting, as well as leading the finance and accounting team. PipelineRx was acquired by CarePathRx in July 2019.

Before PipelineRx, Stephen was the Sr. Advisor/CFO at Smart Tuition, a software company providing financial solutions for schools and families. Stephen advised on Smart Tuition’s sale to Blackbaud for $190M in December 2016.

Stephen has also held positions as a CFO consultant at Nomad Financial and Chief Financial Officer (US) at Skrill (now Paysafe Group). In these roles, they provided financial advice and guidance to help companies grow and scale.

Earlier in their career, Stephen was the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Hara (now Verisae), a software company that provides sustainability solutions to businesses. Stephen was responsible for all aspects of finance and operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, human resources, legal, and IT.

Stephen Lien has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from University of California, Berkeley and a degree from Bellarmine College Preparatory.

Stephen Lien reports to Russ Johannesson, CEO . They are on a team with Mark Clements - Chief Medical Officer, Zach Henderson - Chief Commercial Officer, and David A. Conn - EVP, Partnerships & Alliances.
