Kristen Lewis

Kristen comes to GMGI with a background in marine biology and teaching. Originally from California, Kristen moved to Massachusetts in 2016 to complete her undergraduate degree. After graduating from Salem State University in 2020 with her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in marine biology and a minor in chemistry, she spent two years teaching general science at O’Maley Innovation Middle School in Gloucester. Kristen is excited to join the Academy and is looking forward to continuing a career in science education and research. When not at the Academy she is in her garden, collecting seaweed to add to her herbarium, or traveling and camping in various national parks.
