J.M. Glover

Founder and President of Glover Construction, J.M. Glover, has more than 60 years of grading and construction experience. After serving as a military police officer in the United States Army, he returned to his roots in Northampton County, N.C. There, he started his own logging and grading company to assist local landowners in developing their land to meet their timber, pasture, pond and agriculture needs. In 1975, J.M. incorporated his company in North Carolina. Since then, it’s grown to do business in several states across the Southeast.

Now in his 80s, J.M. still oversees every aspect of the business, from equipment purchasing to the bidding process and senior staff management. Each day, he is on the ground either at the office or a job site ensuring that his team is upholding his high standards of quality, efficiency and ethical operation.
