Celine Carlet

Celine Carlet has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Celine currently holds the position of VP, Head of Transactions, Global Business Development at Galapagos since May 2023. In this role, they are responsible for leading negotiations and structuring and closing transactions. Celine also manages a team of transaction make-it-happeners.

Prior to their current position, Celine served as the Executive Director of Corporate Development & Alliance Management at ADC Therapeutics from August 2021 to September 2023.

From 2014 to 2021, Celine worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Initially joining as the Director of Business Development & Alliance Management, they were later promoted to Senior Director. During their time at Ferring, they played a critical role in identifying and delivering collaboration opportunities for new modalities/platforms. Celine also led cross-functional teams in developing business cases and negotiating contracts. Celine achieved significant savings and increased revenues through contract renegotiations and generated new licensing deals within existing therapeutic areas. Additionally, they led the Due Diligence team for the acquisition of a microbiome company, Rebiotix.

Before Ferring, Celine held positions at Shire Pharmaceuticals as Director of Alliance Management and Director of New Market Development from 2011 to 2014, and at Merck Serono as Director of Alliance Management and Director of Product Development Programs from 2006 to 2010. Celine started their career at Serono International as a Regulatory Manager and later became a Regulatory Director. Celine also worked as a Regulatory Manager at Roche Consumer Health.
