Ilse de Vocht

Ilse De Vocht has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ilse began their career at AstraZeneca in 2000, where they worked as a Business Finance Manager until 2006. Ilse then transitioned to a compliance role at AstraZeneca, serving as the Belux Compliance Manager from 2007 to 2011. In this position, they established a Corporate Governance framework and led a team of three. From 2011 to 2013, Ilse worked as a Compliance Project Manager for AstraZeneca, focusing on operational efficiency and implementing compliance frameworks in Europe. Ilse then advanced to become the Compliance Director for Western & Southern Europe, a role they held from 2014 to 2019. During this time, they led compliance programs in multiple countries, managed teams, and spearheaded European and global compliance projects. In 2019, Ilse joined Takeda in Belgium as the Head of Ethics & Compliance, contributing to the company's commitment to better healthcare. Ilse later joined Galapagos in 2020 as the Compliance Operations Director, supporting the commercialization of innovative medicines across Europe.

Ilse De Vocht completed their Master's degree in Banking and Finance at Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel from 1984 to 1989.
