Joke Meeus

Joke Meeus is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as Drug Product Development Leader, CMC Leader, and Associate Director at Galapagos since July 2017. Previously, Joke held the position of Scientist in Formulation and Process Development at UCB from October 2014 to June 2017, focusing on formulation development for the Japanese market and coordinating pharmaceutical processes for analytical testing and clinical trials. As a PhD student at KU Leuven between September 2009 and September 2014, Joke specialized in developing long-acting injectable formulations for poorly soluble anti-HIV compounds under the supervision of Prof. Guy Van den Mooter. Educational credentials include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, completed between 2004 and 2009.
