Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is an experienced Information Technology Manager at Goodwin-Lasiter-Strong since May 2014, responsible for reporting on projects, budgeting, forecasting, and security implementation. Additionally, Aaron has served as a Corporate Recruiter and IT Specialist, managing contracts and basic IT functions. At the Texas High School Basketball Official's Association, Aaron functions as Treasurer, overseeing payroll and invoicing. An Advisory Board Member for the Boys and Girls Club of Lufkin from 2015 to 2019, Aaron contributed to fundraising and enhancing the club's environment. Previously, as Rental Manager at Texas Timberjack, Inc., Aaron implemented systems for inventory control and employee training, while also developing marketing strategies. Aaron began a career in sales at H&W Honda Powerhouse, achieving top salesman honors. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Texas at Tyler.
