Marina Martinić Kavur

Marina Martinić Kavur began their work experience in 2012 as a Research Intern at Rudjer Boskovic Institute in Zagreb, Croatia. Marina then became a Research Assistant at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb from May 2012 to May 2013. In 2013, Marina joined the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology as a PhD Student, and they completed their role in December 2017. In 2018, they joined Genos Ltd as a Researcher and also started working at GlycanAge, where they first served as the Corporate Communications Manager from March 2018 to September 2022. Marina is currently the Head of Research and Development at GlycanAge.

Marina Martinić Kavur obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology, General from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in the years 2006 to 2009. Marina continued their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Experimental Biology, specializing in Immunology and Physiology, from 2009 to 2011. Marina then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Vienna from 2013 to 2018.
