Mr. Sammataro is a professional engineer with significant expertise in the inspection and corrective action of bridge and tunnel inspection. He is experienced in working in various environments, including confined spaces, large heights, as well as traffic setups. His areas of expertise are structural inspections for determination of condition, adequacy, and operability of bridges and tunnels, as well as analytical skills pertaining to structural calculations and technical evaluations. He is adept in the development of inspection reports in compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards and Department of Transportation Inspection Standards. His field safety inspection experience includes inspection of various types of overhead sign structures and highway bridges including fracture critical bridges and bridges with poor condition ratings. In addition, he is experienced in performing load rating analyses of various types of highway bridges.
