Gerard Smith

Gerard Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services and contact centre industries. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Unity Bank Limited, Gerard is focused on facilitating a merger with G&C Mutual Bank through strategic technology integration. As Chairperson of the Board for Auscontact Association, Gerard promotes innovation and growth within Australia’s contact centre sector. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Goulburn Murray Credit Union, Chief Information Officer and various leadership positions at Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, and eBusiness and Contact Centre Manager at Teachers Credit Union Limited. Gerard holds a Master of Management (Information Technology) from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor in Adult Education from the University of Technology Sydney.
