Alexey Likhanov

Alexey Likhanov has a diverse work experience in finance and corporate strategy. From 2004 to 2007, they served as the Chief Credit Officer at Gazprombank before moving on to ING as the VP of DCM from 2007 to 2015. Following this, they worked as the Deputy CEO for strategic development at Gazprom Media/Comedy Club Production from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they led M&A deal advisory for a confidential company. Most recently, they have been the Head of Capital Markets & International FIs at Credit Bank of Moscow and Head of Corporate Finance at Norilsk Nickel since 2021. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various financial roles, including deal structuring, fundraising, financial modeling, and negotiation with commercial banks.

Alexey Likhanov earned a Specialist degree in Banking from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in 1999-2004, followed by a Specialist degree in Civil law from Kutafin Moscow State Law University in 2001-2005. Alexey then went on to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance, General from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in 2005-2009. In 2020, they obtained a certification in FinTech from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX.
