Umasankar Poola

Umasankar Poola is a skilled aviation technician with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Technician at GMR Aerospace Engineering Company Private Limited since July 2021, Umasankar has been with GMR Aero Technic since April 2015, where responsibilities have included A, C Redelivery checks on Airbus A320 aircraft and C checks on various aircraft models such as Boeing 737 NG, ATR 72-500, and Bombardier DHC-Q400. Umasankar began their career as an in-plant trainee with Air India, where involvement included the repair and overhaul of critical mechanical parts for aircraft including Boeing 747 and 777 series. Umasankar holds a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Flytech Aviation Academy, completed from 2006 to 2008.
