Omjyoti Dutta

Omjyoti Dutta is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in developing automated deep-learning solutions and advanced machine learning applications. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at GMV since September 2024, Omjyoti has previously held senior data scientist positions at Mitiga Solutions and QUANTIC BRAINS, as well as a role focused on computer vision and remote sensing at GMV's Aerospace sector. Notable contributions include successful fraud analysis for the banking sector and the development of a production-level text analysis tool while working with La Caixa. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Jadavpur University. Positions held also include postdoctoral research at the Donostia International Physics Center and ICFO, alongside a researcher role at Jagiellonian University.
