Genevieve Welch is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in genomic research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation since March 2001, Genevieve specializes in functional profiling, screening, cloning, and cell line modification. Previous experience includes a position as Scientist I at Akkadix, where Genevieve focused on plant modifications for nematode control, and an undergraduate research role at California State University, Long Beach, concentrating on genotyping. Genevieve also contributed to education as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for introductory biology and chemistry courses. Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from California State University, Long Beach.
