GNR Public Health
GNR Public Health is the local health departments serving Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale counties. We continuously monitor the health status of the community to identify health problems. We inform and educate the public on ways to reduce health risks and promote better health through individual contact and media interactions. We regularly participate in and mobilize community groups to develop policies and action plans to improve the health of the people in the community. The health departments enforce laws, regulations, and ordinances that protect health and ensure safety. Working together to provide these vitally important, “essential” public health services, we can improve the quality of life for everyone in the community and state.
