Jessika Lind Petrén

Jessika Lind Petrén has over 20 years of work experience in various sustainability-related roles. Jessika is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer at Go North Group, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Lind Petrén Sustainability Affairs starting in December 2019. Jessika also worked as the HSSEQ Manager at Perstorp Oxo AB from July 2021 to March 2022.

Earlier in their career, Petrén held several positions at Stena Metall AB, including Manager of Sustainability and Public Affairs from September 2014 to December 2019. Before that, they served as Group coordinator of Sustainability and Public Affairs from January 2011 to September 2014 and started their career at the company as an Environmental Lawyer from August 2000 to January 2011.

Petrén has also served as a Board Member at the Swedish Chemicals Agency from January 2005 to January 2007 and at Ekocentrum from January 2000 to January 2002. Jessika has additionally worked as an Environmental Consultant at DNV Group (Det Norske Veritas) from February 2000 to September 2000 and at EAL Miljökapital AB from December 1997 to January 2000. Prior to that, they were a Member in the waste council at Naturvårdsverket from January 2012 to January 2014.

Jessika Lind Petrén's education history begins in 1989 when they attended the University of Gothenburg and studied French Language and Literature for one year. In 1990, they enrolled in both the University of Gothenburg and Uppsala University, where they pursued two degrees simultaneously. At the University of Gothenburg, they obtained an economics degree with a focus on social studies and business law. At Uppsala University, they pursued a law degree and completed their Juris kandidatexamen.

In 1997, Jessika Lind Petrén returned to the University of Gothenburg to study general environmental science, earning a degree in Allmän miljövetenskap. In 2010, they attended Uppsala University again and delved into CSR in practice and theory, although the degree name is not specified.

Currently, Jessika Lind Petrén is pursuing an Executive MBA program at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. The program is ongoing and they have completed the first year. Their field of study in this program is Business Administration and Management, General.
