Sara Havens

Sara Havens serves as the Director of Whiskey at CaskX since January 2021, while also contributing as a freelance writer for Bourbon Plus Magazine, The Bourbon Review, Food & Dining Magazine, and The Alcohol Professor. Previously, Sara was a Bourbon Tour Guide and Director of Marketing at Mint Julep Experiences, overseeing marketing strategies for multiple companies. As the Culture Editor at Insider Louisville from 2014 to 2019, responsibilities included coverage of diverse cultural sectors and managing freelance contributions. Sara's editorial experience includes tenure as Editor at LEO Weekly, with a history of various editorial roles, and the establishment of the Bar Belle column. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Magazine Journalism from Ohio University.
