Reed Loden

Reed Loden has a diverse work experience in the field of security and information technology. Reed is currently serving as the VP of Security at Teleport since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Principal at Beyond Paranoid starting from October 2020. Reed also has experience as the President & Lead Organizer of Security B-Sides San Francisco since October 2015. Reed contributed to the security sector as a part of HackerOne from July 2014 to July 2021. Before that, Reed worked as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Lookout from July 2012 to June 2014, and as an Information Security Engineer at Palantir Technologies from August 2010 to July 2012. Reed began their career as a Technical Consultant at Voxel dot Net from October 2009 to August 2010. Reed's early experience includes roles as a Systems Administrator at Mozilla from August 2008 to August 2009, and as a Systems Administrator from May 2007 to August 2007. In addition, they worked as a full-time contractor at Mozilla from December 2006 to January 2007, focusing on IT-related projects such as upgrading Bugzilla and resolving webtool security issues.

Reed Loden attended Mississippi State University from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. During their time there, they did not obtain a specific degree. In addition to their education, Reed also holds several certifications. In August 2004, they obtained the Eagle Scout certification from the Boy Scouts of America. More recently, in August 2020, Reed achieved the certification of Speaker at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2020 from The Linux Foundation.
