Prabha Shankaran

Prabha Shankaran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Prabha is currently working at Lasso in the Engineering & Product role since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BlackRock for over a decade, starting as an Analyst from January 2009 to December 2010. Prabha then advanced to the role of Associate from January 2011 to October 2016, where they contributed to various high-priority projects such as cost savings initiatives and increased web traffic. Finally, they served as a Vice President from November 2016 to November 2021, spearheading efforts to standardize revenue generating APIs and implementing a retirement solution that increased assets under management by $6 billion. Before joining BlackRock, they worked as a Software Engineer at NTT DATA Services from May 2006 to November 2007.

Prabha Shankaran's education history begins with their attending St. Joseph's Convent from 1990 until 2000. Here, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following this, they attended PSBB School from 2000 to 2002, where they earned their High School degree. Moving forward, Prabha joined Easwari Engineering College (SRM Group) from 2002 to 2006, obtaining their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science. Finally, in 2008, they attended New Jersey Institute of Technology for a short period of time, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.
