Kyli Lyn Arford

Kyli Lyn Arford has a diverse work experience. Kyli Lyn began in 2007 as a Clinical Research Assistant at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2009, they became the Sustainable Agriculture and Livestock Management Coordinator at Wai'aha Farm. In 2010, they worked at Adaptations Hawaii as a Crop Developer, Collective Roots as a Public Health Fellow, Garden and Nutrition Educator, and Food Justice Community Facilitator, and West Hawaii Solar Energy Project as a Community Facilitator. In 2013, they were the Sustainability and Middle School Community Action Coordinator at Castilleja School. In 2016, they became the Biology and Chemistry Teacher, Special Education Department Facilitator at Kealakehe High School. In 2019, they were the District Resource Teacher, Special Education at the Hawaii State Department of Education. In 2020, they became the Success Manager at Goalbook. Kyli Lyn also worked with Teach For America from 2018-2020, where they were the Kama'aina Diversity and Recruitment and Instructional Coach.

Kyli Lyn Arford has a diverse educational background. Kyli Lyn obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from California State University - East Bay between 2003 and 2006. Following this, they earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Chaminade University of Honolulu between 2016 and 2018. Kyli Lyn also attended Konawaena High School between 1994 and 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Google and the American Red Cross, including Google Certified Educator Level 1 from Google in November 2019 and CPR & First Aid, Phlebotomy Technician from the American Red Cross.
