Amy Reuveni

Senior Manager of Teaching and Learning at Goalsetter

Amy Reuveni has a wealth of experience in the education field. Amy began their career in 2007 as an English Teacher at Orr Academy High School. In 2008, they moved to Infinity Math, Science, and Technology High School, where they continued to teach English. In 2010, they took on the role of Masters Candidate at White River High School. In 2011, they returned to teaching as a Special Education Teacher at South Johnston High School. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Marine Leadership Academy - Ames, first as a Special Education Case Manager, where they managed a team of 16 teachers, service providers, and healthcare professionals to ensure support services were delivered to 850 students, and then as a Special Education Teacher, where they helped "close the gap" for 7th and 8th grade students who were previously reading 2-5 levels below grade level. In 2014, they took on two additional roles at Chicago Public Schools, first as a Framework Specialist, and then as a Curriculum Reviewer and REACH Performance Task Creator. Finally, in 2016, they took on the role of Professional Development Designer and Facilitator with The Poetry Foundation. In 2023, they became the Senior Manager of Teaching and Learning at Goalsetter.

Amy Reuveni obtained a Bachelor of Education - BEd from Ohio University in 2007, with a field of study in Secondary Education and Teaching. Amy then went on to obtain a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in 2011, with a field of study in Special Education and Teaching. In 2017, they obtained National Board Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Finally, in 2022, they obtained an Education: Professional Educator Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
